Diver has been in Keeling’s for about 4 years, it was initially used to combine information across the many different companies within the group to allow comparisons & benchmarking, however the Diver solution has become much more for us within the Fresh company over the past two years.

Using Prodiver and Diveport we have created a suite of reports delivering daily and weekly business intelligence, relevant to specific segments and categories. It has been the vehicle for Keeling’s to combine data from multiple applications and deliver it those who require it to make decisions, without a large amount of overhead on reporting personnel.

Year on Year, V’s Budget, Stock Days, QSL’s, DSL’s, Operational Efficiencies are presented on an easy to use platform. Automatic emailing of key reports has been a very welcome feature. This is a testament to DBI’s goal for continuous development, an area showcased at their annual conference for Users.

The support received from the DBI development team is world class. For Keeling’s Diver has allowed us to unlock the potential in the data our other applications collect, and helps deliver business information to key decision makers. This is a testament that is also echoed by the Keelings Fresh management team.

Corium is a healthcare sales/ marketing company and we have used DIVER with support from DBI since 2007. Research has indicated that accessing data from many sources, understanding and acting on it is a major challenge for companies. DIVER has and continues to meet the challenge and has surpassed our expectations. We have DIVER linked to our SAGE accounting package and our proprietary Patient Management System (PMS). The PMS records and manages circa. 26,000 patient prescriptions and DIVER enables us to analyse our data from every imaginable angle. This means Corium can measure and consequently manage our business in a way that was not possible with a traditional accounting package. DIVER brings transparency with flexibility to data.

Every interaction with DBI staff has enhanced our understanding and the on-going support is excellent. We consider DBI as an excellent partner that continues to address needs from our perspective. The support is as good as the software – nothing is too small a deal and I haven’t been asked to participate in some long winded ‘IT Project’ to get what we need. 95% of queries can be resolved over the phone, with our remaining needs met shortly afterwards. We are very confident in recommending DBI, their staff and approach.

I inherited the Diver Solution upon joining ADM Londis plc, having worked in IT Development previously I was familiar with a wide range of BI Applications and developer environments.

The Diver Solution does not relegate ease of use and functionality to the User Interface, it carries this right through to the Development Environment. Anyone experienced in BI, Databases or Report Writing will quickly find Diver a powerful addition to their portfolio, we have developed significant in-house expertise but equally have DBI to fall back on should we encounter any problems or need some expert advice.

As information becomes more important and as we all strive to make qualified as opposed to “Gut-Feel” decisions, Diver is the solution, we have deployed it internally, to our entire remote workforce, some of our suppliers and are right now starting to deploy to our customers.

In the BI Sphere there is only one solution worth considering, from a Commercial, Financial or IT Perspective, Diver is that solution. I have replaced many of the systems I inherited however Diver I would recommend without hesitation to anyone considering a BI Investment.

As a company who supplies a large number of products across different categories to a wide customer base we require an analysis tool that allows us to quickly analyse our sales data.

Diver allows us to do this in an accurate, timely and user friendly way. With a click of a button we can analyse the data using various key labels from customer, product, brand, sales representative, sales area, year, month, week etc.

Due to the flexibility and accuracy that Diver provides it is an excellent reporting tool and our employees use the system for various tasks throughout our business. As a result it has become more than just a Management tool to our organisation.
That said, as a Management Information System the speed at which it allows you to interrogate large amounts of data has proven to be invaluable over the past few years and although we currently use it mainly as a sales analyser we are looking at ways to expand its use into the rest of our business.

We have used the Diver management reporting system for over 4 years and could not operate now without the valuable information it allows us to tap into on a daily basis. Diver enables us to track sales on a monthly, weekly and daily basis which is essential for our business needs. As a sales reporting tool it allows us to react swiftly to the changing trends within our business and if a customer’s sales and volume declines in any given month we can react swiftly with a strategy that ensures we get that customer back on track to hit their monthly sales targets.

Our sales team use weekly automated reports generated by Diver to ensure that they keep track of their monthly sales targets which saves a lot of time and extra resources within the business. We also use the information Diver gives us as template for all annual promotions and find we can optimise volumes with certain customer groups at certain seasonal times of the year.

We purchase over 1300 products from 90 different suppliers worldwide and Diver allows our purchasing manager to control stocks and instruct deliveries ensuring that our service levels are second to none in our industry. It also ensures that we optimise cash flow on a monthly basis which is essential for any businesses.

I have been a previous Diver user and was relieved to introduce it to my new employer: a positive decision was quickly given and Diver was installed. The return on investment in Diver begins from day one, with faster more reliable information that can be analysed and checked quickly using the drill down features.

We have two stores and with Diver the information is combined every evening and no need for multiple spreadsheets to give consolidated figures. Sales purchasing and financials are there every morning ready for review.

We have been using Diver now for 4 years and have found it to be invaluable. We installed it initially to support our purchasing decision making, but quickly found it to be even more useful in sales analysis, finance and planning. Diver is a product which I have great pleasure in recommending, I have nothing but praise for the DBI team. In our deployment we take data feeds from Navision every day (3 to 4 times a day for KPIs) so we have up to the minute data on our sales. From a data integration point of view it is simple enough for non-technical marketing, purchasing and sales people to data mine after some initial training – it does not require understanding of SQL language to get good information out of the system.

I installed and developed Diver at Rajapack with the help of DBI, but I quickly became proficient enough to carry out training myself so as to bring other users up to speed and allow them to start developing their own more complex reports. It needs a commitment from the business to put the effort in, in the first place, but now everyone can see what a powerful tool it is and how much time it can save in producing reports or ad hoc analysis. Everyone is using Diver to improve our business analysis and drive the business every day.

Diver puts the analysis and reporting in the hands of the end user and as such is not limited to the suite of reports or development requirements of an operating system; it means that the business is not reliant on the IT department to develop analysis and reporting that may take many weeks to implement.

After seeing how beneficial it is for our UK operation, Italy & Germany have also adopted it. It was easy to share reporting that we had already developed in the UK and this speeded up the implementation and took advantage of the investment we had already made in Diver.

We have been using Diver for over 10 years as our BI solution.

From a development perspective the data integration and model building is very straight forward, we take nightly feeds from over 20 sources.

We have had very positive feedback from our 400 plus users about how easy they find ProDiver to use. Some users have come from working with other BI products and find it simple to use and intuitive, other users have never used a BI tool before and are diving and writing their own markers with very little training.

The support we receive from DBI has always been first-rate because they have excellent knowledge of all the Diver modules and they respond quickly to any queries.
